Alerts correct?
On our 2002 Suburban V8 5.3L I get several alerts I am not sure are correct. I get a low coolant alert often. The refill tank has plenty in it well above the sensor. The ABS warning light comes on after driving a few miles. It appears to be sporadic. I appreciate any advice.
Thanks!
Mike

I should have added, the engine is not over heating at least so far running about 1/2 gauge on the meeting even though the low coolant alert is on.

Well, if coolant in the reservoir is above the sensor, disconnect the sensor and see if the light goes out.....if it does, then you need a new sensor.....but before replacing it, tap it with the handle of a screw driver, reconnect and see if the light goes out....
As for the ABS, a code is set and it needs to be read by an ABS capable scanner....

thanks for the suggestion. I disconnected the sensor but it remained on. It appears the level of coolant in the reservoir is dropping but still above the sensor.
