Default '99 5.7L, Timing Marks and indicator?

I want to check the valve adjustment on my '99 Tahoe 5.7L. Are there Timing Marks and Indicator on this engine?
If not, how would I be able to locate TDC for cylinder #1?
Thank you for the help on this one.

There should be a mark on the balancer or it may be the key notch. Either way just put a screwdriver in the number one and watch for it to top out and see where it is on the balancer. If it'* not where it should be it should be on the exhaust stroke and 180* out.
