2014 GMC Terrain Fuel Pump Issues - PLEASE HELP
So I'm familiar with both the four-cylinder and V6 options for that vehicle and I can guarantee you from personal experience with both that you need to replace your timing chain ASAP because if you don't you're going to make piston contact and it'* going to destroy the rocker arms and your valve train and you'll have to buy another motor, this is such a common issue with these vehicles because they burn so much oil and the timing systems are notoriously unreliable and the reason that you're getting a manifold absolute pressure code is because your intake valves are opening too early so the compression from the cylinder is going back into your manifold which is part of the reason that it'* running so rough and giving you a lean condition because part of your fuel charge is being pushed back up into the intake. My brother had the exact same vehicle and it was running exactly how it sounds in the video you posted and throwing a lot of the similar codes and after we took off the valve cover and saw the condition of the rocker arms it was already too late and we had to replace the entire engine and that is definitely something you don't want to have to do because they fail so often they are in such high demand that the price to replace one much less even find one that isn't already blown up is astronomical. So again my recommendation is to replace the timing chain and get it professionally retimed and clear the codes.
