2003 Silverdo AC Issue
I'm dealing with an AC issue on this P/U I've never dealt with before.... The AC blows very cold, then when on the highway it will stop blowing cold and blows warm.... then when I'm at an idle again it starts blowing cold until I'm on the highway again.... I've checked the blend door and it seems to be working just fine...... so I'm stumped at what'* going on...............................

Generally speaking it is best to take it to an automotive A/C shop as it may be a tad low on refrigerant.
They hook up gauges into the high & low side ports & check to ensure that the system is within specifications or not, to start out with.
Can you tell if the compressor is engaging at hwy speeds?

Yeah, I'd guess it is low on refrigerant too.
Weird that it gets warmer at speed, but I could see a situation or two where that could happen.

Nope the refrigerant is at normal levels based on the readings of my manifold gauges......... this is really weird.... AND sometimes at freeway speeds it blows just as cold, then all of a sudden it starts blowing warm.... I've checked the actuators and they are functioning properly and not messing up..... My best guess at this point is that the AC Compressor is at the early stages of failure.
