Dealing with a 2003 Silverado 1500 (2wd) and it will not start and none of the gauges work if the driver door is all the opened..... If you close the driver door even 1/2 way, it'll start and the gauges start working..... I'm assuming it is a wiring issue of some sort, but has anyone dealt with a similar issue..... what are we dealing with?

I'm not sure but I would look at the wiring in the loom to the door.
