my 89 Pontiac Bonneville driver side door is stuck shut how do i go about getting it open?

you should elaborate. is it locked and won't unlock. is it unlocked and handles won't release latch mechanism, etc.

might be forced to pull arm pad off and see if you can get your hand in there and grab release rod.
