Default 2001 suburban 1500 valve adjustment

I have a 2001 suburban 1500 with a 5.3 engine. I'm replacing a bad lifter, so my question is about adjusting the valves. So you adjust the valves on this motor in the standard way using zero lash plus a turn, or do these rocker arms just get torque down to a specific torque.
Thanks
