Default 2001 4l60 problem

The problem is when I take off hard and hold it to the floor it pulls hard until about 4500-4700 rpm and then it’* like it gets kicked into neutral, if I back out of the throttle it will catch again then shift to second if I’m not really hard on it it will shift perfectly Any ideas

I agree, don't do that. There are shift tables programmed into the ECU. When certain circumstances are met, certain things won't happen at certain RPM'*. This is to protect the trans and drivetrain.

What is this vehicle anyway?

It’* out of a 2001 1500 2wdr with a 5.3 I swapped it all into a 1970 c10, I’ve driven a lot of these truck and they all shift from 1st to 2nd at wide open throttle no problem. I have been told that maybe a Broken sprang could do this but from what I can find it should do it in 3rd but it doesn’t
