Default 2.4 engine tools

Recently I have had a increase on 2.4 engine repairs and rebuilding. Looking to purchase a few tools to make the jobs easier and faster. What is a good valve spring compressor and is there a specific tool for replacing balance shaft bearings.

I think this largely depends on how much usage and budget is involved. Are you an independent? . . . or a large shop . . . ? . . . or a hobbyist with a penchant for GM 2.4s? . . . or . . . ?
