05 suburban brakes
i have a 2005 suburban z71. i put new brakes and rotors on it and the brakes are still very bad. the pedal is soft and it takes forever to stop it. i had the lines bled but that did nothing. it has always been this way. . any suggestions? thank you

Pump the pedal several times. If the pedal pressure increases the more times you pump it you have air in the lines. Now, pump the pedal several times until it gets firm, then maintain pressure. If the pedal drifts to the floor while you maintain pressure you need to rebuild or replace the master cylinder.
Try those two tests and let us know what you find.

Keep bleeding the brakes until the pedal gets hard. If it doesn't get hard after you are abolutely positive all the air is out of the system, you propbably need a new master cylinder.
Any signs of a leak?
