Default 02 suburban, transmission has recent rebuild, with no warning it seems to be stuck in

I have an 02 suburban 1500 2wd. I just had the transmission rebuilt in it barely 2 months ago. Everything has been fine I've towed trailers and other vehicles on 2 wheel dollies and never a moments trouble. Until yesterday, I wasn't 2 miles from my house, then suddenly it acted as if I had put it in neutral. I was able to close to a parking lot where currently it'* still sitting. I've tried resetting the ECU and the TCM, I was curious about the neutral safety switch but I have been told that if it goes out you can put the truck in gear and it will start. I know that'* not wise to do, but since I was in a large empty parking lot, I tried it, but it did nothing. It goes into park no problem. I have checked the linkage, cable, even all the fuses that are related to the transmission, however, I have come up empty handed at every turn and am truly stumped 🤔 Any advice or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

the fluid level shows full on the dipstick and I've not had any puddles under it or fluid trails behind me.

Are they still in business? Most reputable trans shops offer a 3-yr 36K to 50K warranty. Sounds like a bunch of old parts were used again during the rebuild!
