Default Yet another upgrade for Jinx

Well, now that the PCM conversion is coming to a close, it'* time to move onto some other things

I picked up some SEM paint, and decided to go back to semi-stock colors. BUT, with a twist...

Not only did I do that, I also added a much needed (and missing) gage, courtesy of SkyCraft in Orlando.

And yes, it does work.

Jim, if that'* a clock, I didn't know there was 11:62 PM

I'm betting it'* a air/fuel ratio?

did I give you blue film for your ECC? I don't remember that

I agree with Jim, we need a no-flash picture to see how the color really matches.

I really use that vent during the winter to warm my cold hands, lucky you don't have to deal with that!

Nope, it'* just a voltmeter. However, it IS capable of reading in mV, but not in the scale I need it to be in for A/F. The gage runs off of 5 volts, so I had to scuttle one of my cell phone power supplies to get it to work right. My only beef is that there is no dim function. No matter....just means I can read it in daylight!!

Even w/o the flash, it is noticeably lighter than the dash. Not because the color is off...this is the saddle tan paint. It'* due to the lovely Florida heat taking its toll on the dash since day one. The dash will eventually be dyed to brighten things up in there.

Andrew, that ECC display, if you look closely, never belonged in a Bonneville. It'* been modified to fit...from another GM. NOT an H-body. And it came with the blue film.

any idea what it came out of?

That looks interesting, I like it. I'm considering painting mine white, but not like bright white that'd be too off color to the rest...idk

But that looks neat
little off color it seems but cool

That'* an awesome color! I'm thinking of getting a black center console to blend with the black dash pieces, but this is also a great idea.

I think the ECC came from a GM truck. Can't put my finger on it. My reason for this is that it came with the blue tint. It'* really rare for someone to mod a luxury sedan with blue tint, Bonneville or not, but trucks are fair game regardless of trim level or interior luxury options.

Nope. It'* a GM car. NOT FWD.

Give up?

Even I'm shaky as to what it came out of. But I think it was an Olds Custom Cruiser or a Buick Roadmaster...I can't remember. What I DO remember is that it was a din 1.5 mounting...it had idiot lights underneath. But the structure for the EEC was the same, so I peeled the face off of it, glued it onto the Pontiac structure, trimmed the excess. I also swapped buttons since I liked the textrured feel of them better. Believe it or not, that was one of the first mods I had done to the car.
