Is this worth it?
I found a repo'd 94 Bonneville SSEi with 88K miles on it for 2350. Anyone think its worth it? I'm going to check on condition obviously. Is there anything to look out for? What kind of mileage can I expect on the highway in one of these?

In proper tune, you should get 29-30mpg, but that depends on the condition of the trans, as well. Listen for a rattle from the SC at idle. The coupler rattles only at idle when worn, but it'* a cheap and relatively easy fix. Look for a light coating of dust on the engine, showing that they didn't clean it to hide something.
After it'* idled, check the trans fluid. Make sure it'* good and pink. Other than that, the normal checks for any car. The SSEi drivetrain is pretty much bulletproof if basically maintained, but the trans is a potential weak spot.

maybe it wouldnt be a bad idea to take it to a reputable shop to get it checked out as well..stuff like front end, ball joints tie rods, that expensive stuff.
They're good cars, if its only at 88,000 miles, taken care of, ive seen em over 200,000.

I would personally stay away from a repo'd car. I feel that the previous ownere might not have taken good care of it. Just my $0.02.
