Default XTC Speaker baffles - worth it for the rear?

Hello,

I just recently ordered a pair of Pioneer TS-A6995'* for the rear deck. I've heard that XTC speaker baffles would be really good for door speakers as far as protection and tightening the bass, but what about the rears? Also, is there anything else that I should know before installing the speakers?

I'm going to be placing an order from Crutchfield for knick-knacks like wiring harnesses, speaker baffles (the front doors definitely, and the rears if recommended by you guys) and other things. Even though I'm only doing the rears now, I figured I'd get the small stuff now so that I don't have to spend money on shipping again later when I decide to splurge on the rest of the car.

Thanks for any advice!

First, good choice on the speakers. Next...don't ever buy anything from Crutchfield! Unless you like paying an extra 25-50% for everything. Here are some links for car Audio supplies:

I hope these help!

But are they worth it for the rear deck?
