I've always thought that the openings were too smal for our cars . I put a plastic board under the car so the air that comes from the air dam does not get lost under the car . I kinda figured that the air should also be going around the tranny and circulating aroung the engine cowl , but what the hell !

I'm beginning to agree with you on that one. I didn't lose much square footage with the slush, but it made a huge difference. I'd like to find a way to prevent this or make it so it doesn't matter. Your idea with the plastic is interesting.

If you could take at least one air duct and focus it on your raidiator and another one behind your engine , it will cool the whole engine cowl and should improve the air density . Every little bit helps!
