So I was at my grandpa'* over easter and we were looking through one of his pantries that is filled with dishes and such and I asked him what in the world he would ever use a 1 gallon pitcher for...........

He got all excited and went off on how he used to make slush in it. And how good it was, etc, etc. He spent the next 20 or so minutes looking for the recipe. Now note, my grandpa is 89 and he is thumbing through all his (and my grandma'*) recipe card containers to find this recipe. Well aware that I am not 21 and he is looking for an alcoholic recipe. (my family is pretty straight edge but my parents know I enjoy a drink every now and again)

So here it is:
1 large can unsweetened Pinapple juice
1 quart gingerale
2 cups of Vodka

Put in freezer and stir frequently until slushy

Serve by taking a scoop of the slush into a glass and then filling the rest of the glass with squirt (or any other lime soda)

I must say it is DAMN tasty. I cant wait for friday.....its already made

actually, we used to make those for summer parties all the time. Not too bad....
