I just installed on the Malibu and going to on the Bonneville, a set of wipers that doesn't have any actual plastic or steel arms. It is a flexible wiper blade. I can't think of the company name right now but will check and post it later. I had to drive through real crappy weather this week ( so much ice on the car I couldn't open the gas door), and these wipers worked great.
I was really surprised to see how well they worked even at HWY speeds.
They are not a cheap wiper but they work.
