i ran fuel injector cleaner and octane booster for about 6 months....woudlnt runnin too rich throw a light

Compression check would be a good idea. You've done a full tuneup. Have you had a scantool on it while driving? How much slip does your TC have? You could be losing alot there.

I don't think his TC is really bad. He can still liight em up fine, could worn rings be a problem too? Maybe a head gasket has a problem? His car seems to run fine so i don't think the valvetrain has anything to do with it. Unless some valve is stuck open?

Could be a burnt valve/seat or rings. Doing a wet/dry compression check is definitely in order.
