OK i get to thinking tonight.........why is no one here running the CSC setup???? i here everyone talking about transplants, just CSC the car. yea the cost are high. it is better to get a newer ssei blah blah. the GP guys dont have a problem doin this I know there are very competitive GP'* that run pretty good numbers with the CSC. why is noone here doing this??

Only one guy has done really well with a CSC setup yet, they're not making much boost down low compared to a M90. I saw one on a MC SS, it was cool.

There are a few people on CGP with CSC setups. The fastest guy runs an 11.712. There are other Monte Carlos and GP'* that run 11'* and 12'* with them. I can definitly see a Bonnie running 12'* with a CSC and proper tuning.

exactly that is what im saying. All i here is all this talk about slapping the m90s on the L36, what is tyhe difference in the stock internals blah blah.... where you can make alot better performance and better track times with a CSC setup. For example Rogue had posted 12s with the Gen V blower and alto of other internal mods. I believe that bor the cost of a Gen III or VI verses a Gen V it is actually cheaper to CSC a L36 and possible run better times

Take into consideration that those CSC kits are made for a W-body, not an H-body. Also those CSC kits arent cheap.

yes but there is more room in the engine bay of an Hbody. how many performance parts have the H bodies adapted form W body cars????

What exactly is a CSC? Some type of supercharger I gather.

If the Car you are talking about is a White 2001, then yes, I have seen it as well. It would be my friend'* car. It is a really nice setup. Talked with him about getting it for my LTZ. I'll have to see if I can find pictures.

The kits are made for 3800'* not just a body. The computer/fuel management will be handeled differently. But the main reason most don't do a CSC is because a turbo can produce more power, and not sap as much from the engine, and it'* easier to adjust.
