If they want to prove something thats fine. But the majority of forum members are younger, immature jerks that want to start **** and anything they try to prove comes across as insulting, demeaning and inconsiderate.

Too bad this had to even get started. It is unfortunate, but there are people in the world who will put you and things important to you down - just to feel better about themselves. These are the kind of people who laugh at the sorrows and misfortunes of others and lack the empathy to realise that they have said and done some hurtful things. Fortuneatly those people seem fairly rare on this board, so lets not promote it. I know what some people said to you may have been hurtful 93sse, and it may have felt good to get it all out, but really you are no better off for it. Take it from someone who has been harassed for no legit reason on another board about some very personal things; you need to just close the browser window and look elsewhere.

Also, I do not thing that calling a long-time member pigheaded stupid and pathetic helps matters any. We don't need a cold war.

I NEVER said that there are things wrong with keeping a forum flame free. Infact i was pissed because people from this forum went there to flame. Yes they appologized, but it still happened. It bothers me because they know that this board is flame free, and they go there and do it. One person was making senseless comments.

You named the forum and you linked the thread. I am just reading through it all now. To be honest, nothing the mustang person has said in the first page is what i would label as rude or uncalled for but other members from here went and posted and it snowballed from there. Who is this beck person? That just went beyond rude :?
