We've been in the flame wars before with other forums, and ultimately, it'* the Admins that pay the price. Each time this happens, it takes the Admins DAYS to clean up the mess. This the major reason most of the Staff keep their email anonymous.

I back Jim and Don up 100%. We will give the Staff at Streetglow equal respect. If they ban one of our members, they go from here too. We've done it before, and I'd rather not do it again.

Wow, more Pigheadedness from BC. Do any of you realize how stupid, pathetic, and sad it looks when people come over from another board just to prove something? They're ignoring you, and being the adults in that conversation. Making a Bonneville sound like the best car ever

I would consider a Scion tC to have more "Luxury" then my '93, but that'* just me.

I'm not going to delve deeper into this subject, looking beyond the car i drive is easy for me, but apparantly not for everyone else.

This is disgusting.

you aren't an idiot, you were just...mistaken. If you're truly sorry, I'd recommend that you apologize there as well, but that'* just IMHO.

*sigh*

Thanks Jason, here we are trying to swing the mood of this thread, realize that members made errors in judgement and we move on...now I have to read how pigheaded my forum is...and my cars are more luxurious then a Scion, another typical apples to oranges comparision.

A Ford Focus can come with leather interior and a CD player and its NOT a luxury car, we (most of us) drive flagship Pontiacs and yes, it is a luxury car it is class in age.

And another thing, there is severe pride in ownership, so to a young man or young lady that sinks time and effort into his/her car...there is nothing better to him/her in the world, one can envy what others have, but to him/her that car is the best thing in world...I'm not justifying what Beck, and Lakeville and 1993SLE and Ms Sixty or whoever the hell said whatever, but I can understand....

Yes i know what you mean, but this isn't the first time this happened. That was the first i saw since i had ditched my computer since thursday.

Yes you can take pride in your work and such, but that was flaming. Every car forum does this, and that'* what my main problem is.

No car is inherently better or worse then another. They all have a different goal, and way to reach that goal. Some cars have great potential, some are good out of the box, some are good at one thing, some are great at others. But some cars may work better for you, you may like a certain style, design, or function. You may need 4 doors. You may need RWD, whatever. What works for you is the best for you! There are hundreds of choices, and many are great ones. Sure we can argue to the ends of the earth, and learn a lot about other cars, but that stuff is blastphemous, and frankly at that level at unprovoked. It seems to be happening more and more, and it can go either way. Yes these boards are cleaner then others, and you can't control actions of others.

I know some people don't wanna hear this but that'* what i see, and i'm not just gonna put on a happy face.

By any chance are you a motivational speaker, cause that was beautiful man! It brought a tear to my eye, three times!

Oh, and John Deere Boy, what did you use to do your eyebrows? I noticed those when you posted that link. I really like how those look. If you could hit me up and let me know how you did those i would appreciate it. It give the lights a real aggressive look. Me likey!

The only sentence I had a problem with is the first one in your first post, Jason. Other than that, it'* a very mature way to look at this.

All cars AREN'T created equal, but each owner has a sense of pride. Different cars serve different purposes, some economy, some luxury, some...well, some are more for decoration. For each owner, their car can be luxurious to THEM, because it suits their needs.

What is the definition of luxury? Really, nothing is set in stone here, so there'* no need to argue it here or there.

I'm sorry this got so blown out of proportion. Lessons were learned, and MOST apologies were made. What'* done is done, and it'* too late to change that. However, it'* also useless kicking a dead horse. So let it rest in peace, or pieces, as I'm gonna make this thread if it keeps going south.

All I'm gonna say is, I had my debate *cleanly and well within the limits* with one or two of there members. And I was the 1st to appologize on that forum on behalf of myself, if anything bad was taken from what I said, our members involved, and BC as an entity. None of my posts there involved a grip load of *********'* or anything of that such, nor did I start flaming cars or members. I took a VERY wrong thing, and tried to turn it around into a right the best I could, within my powers and abitities. If I'm gonna be looked at wrongly because of me making a post and having a CIVIL debate there about something, and trying to clean-up the mess of everything else, then so be it.....But I personally think that'* just as pig-headed as everything that went on over at SG.com. But of course, everyone is entitled to there own opinion.

That'* my 2 cents.
