TC and WSS pull timing and gas when they notice any little wheel slip, I believe the TCM is also affected. I do get much better performance with the two disabled.

The ELC trick is much better, but newer models use the rear struts as on the fly tanks as well. My car goes about 2-2 1/2 inches up in the rear hitting the inflator button. Try yours Redeyes and let us know if it rises. Dan did you do the ELC write up yet?

how long would the raise last, i've heard of wiring a switch to raise the rear up and down which i guess the user would control the length of time in that case.

That'* definitely the way to go, other than putting 140 pounds to my airbags. But I don't have the air suspension in the winter.

It will last a few mins. Long enough to fill and make a run at the strip.

i will def have to try that... an off topic question. correct me if im in the wrong forum, but what is normal operation for a boost gauge? sometimes on light steady throttle my boost gauge would read about the 1/4 line. then without giving any more throttle it will raise up to 1/2 line or 0 boost. is that normal? cold weather maybe?
