Default 1989 Bonneville

My 89 Bonneville LE has 195,000 on original motor and drivetrain. The car still looks great inside and out thanks to living out west where we sand instead of salt the roads. It will easily last another 50,000 miles with someone like myself driving it.

My 92 had 232,000 on it before I sold it to my niece. It'* still going strong. Body is in worse condition than the engine.

I've always wondered if anyone with a 92+ Bonneville has ever had a timing chain snap? I've heard of them breaking on the 88-91 models, but not the newer ones.

My friends parents have a 89 se that has 296k on it with the same tranny and no other major repairs.

My 2000 has 31k which might be the lowest.
