SERIES QUESTION
If I have this correct, the 3800 from 92-94 is series one. 95-05 is series two. If that'* right, then what do you call the 3800 from 88-91? :? :? :? :? :? :? :?: :?: :?: :? :? :? :? :? :? :? :? :? :? :? :? :?

For the Longest the 3800 was just that... 3800 series...
On the 88-91 Vin C LN3 was a 3800 series ...
The 91-95 L27 was a 3800 series Tuned Port Injection..
The 91-95 L67 was 3800 series Supercharged
In 95-96 with the redesign of the series II, the L27-L67 3800 Series became known as the Series I...
The Vin C 3800 is pretty much the same engine as the series I'*...
