Default SERIES QUESTION

If I have this correct, the 3800 from 92-94 is series one. 95-05 is series two. If that'* right, then what do you call the 3800 from 88-91?

the L27 went from 92-94
L36 from 95-05
the S1L67 92-95
S2 L67 96-05

I'm not sure what was before that.

Series I is 92-94 L27 and 92-95 M62 powered L67

87-91 LN3 is just a 3800. No series.

For the Longest the 3800 was just that... 3800 series...

On the 88-91 Vin C LN3 was a 3800 series ...

The 91-95 L27 was a 3800 series Tuned Port Injection..

The 91-95 L67 was 3800 series Supercharged

In 95-96 with the redesign of the series II, the L27-L67 3800 Series became known as the Series I...

The Vin C 3800 is pretty much the same engine as the series I'*...
