I was wondering if anyone knows if a Series II engine and tranny will work in a Series I car? I have a 93 SSE and have found a 99 Lumina Series two engine and tranny, and was wondering if it would be possible to switch them. If anyone has any feedback, it would be appretiated

It should bolt right up. The difficult part is wiring it together.

btw this is my $.02, if you are going to go all out with an engine swap, get an L67 (3800SII spchrd).

Well, I'd like a supercharged one, but don't have one available and they cost a lot more than I have. Although if I could find a nice 95 SSEi with under 60K, that might work out better... anyone know where one forsale might be?
