Then why is he stating he has an L67? Is it an L36 or an L67?

then its a L32, I had a idea that the diffrence was in the years,
But ne ways does that make a diff in air intake kits,
Can i buy any old kit on ebay for $40, has anyone done that?

you dont have an L32 either, that is the brand new series 3 supercharged motors...

you have an L36

get the INTENSE FWI (fender well intake) and be done.. well worth the money, and much more professional than any kit out there you can order on ebay or parts store

A FWI in a 98 on an L36 engine will require custom splash-shielding in the fender area.

Not sure that we should say require on that one. I've been running around for 3 months w/o fabing up a splash shield and have not had any issues except the filter is starting to need a recharge. Being winter that'* pretty good.

I recommend a splash shield, not sure I'd say required
