Had my 1997 SSEI totalled last week and flirted with the idea of changing rides briefly. Then remembered one of the primary reasons the Bonne has worked for me for the last 17 years...I'm too tall for almost anything else!

So you can imagine my frustration when I slid into a 2001 SSEI and found my head butted up against the sunroof unless I adopted a "loooow rider" position.

Got my I eye on two possible replacements... a 1998 and a 1999 SSEI but both are over 90 minute drives from home.

Can anyone tell me when the interior car specs changed?

The major body style change was in 2000. 92-99 were similar and 96-99 were very similar.

Youll normally see them change right along with the body style.

Try finding one without a sunroof which takes up several inches of headroom.
