Default What'* my car worth??? 95 w/SLE (H4U) option 63K miles

I already know what I paid for it a few months ago, just wondering if I paid a fair price?

Car is white w/grey leather interior, 63,000 original miles
Mechanically perfect, runs very well
Body is near perfect, but paint is flaking from hood and decklid
Interior is perfect, and never smoked in
Well optioned
New factory sized 225/60/16 tires
Car needed nothing to pass Maryland State Safety Inspection
Mobil 1 oil since 2000

Mods:
20% tinted windows
Factory airbox gutted w/airhog filter
Dynomax Super Turbo muffler
Alpine 6 cd changer

Let me know what you guys think it'* worth, as I "may" have to sell it soon in order to get something slightly smaller for a new driver in the house...

Here'* a link to pics...no interior shots, but it'* mint...

I'm looking for REAL WORLD value...something KBB usually isn't in touch with.
In other words, what someone who was looking, would pay...a fair price for both buyer and seller...

Just an FYI mods usually hurt the value of the car, unless you find a particular buyer (Like BC.com) that is into modding cars....kbb is pretty good estamation if you ask me

Trust me...after owning several highly modded Mustangs, I KNOW all about losing my butt...lol...In my case, KBB doesn't really have any "area" that my car fits...they lump the mechanical condition with the paint...mine is perfect mechanically, but has the flaky hood and trunk...how would I classify mine? Do I split the difference and say, well the mechanics are PERFECT, but the paint is FAIR...$3305 being KBB'* perfect, 2535 being their fair, and say $2900 is a fair selling price, since with a 300-400 repaint of the hood and trunk it actually is a perfect car??? That'* what I am having a tough time with...

As for the "mods", mine are nearly non-existent...a quick swap back to a stock airbox all but eliminates them, since tinted windows really isn't a "mod", and the muffler is actually just a Dynomax turbo replacement for a 93 (I believe) Bonneville with it'* twin tailpipes...

For the DC Baltimore area 63K is low mileage on any car. What will hurt the value is the condition of the paint. You should see $2,400 to 2,700 for the car. Best of luck if you are trying to sell it.

You could always take it to Carmax in Laurel and see what they will give you. I bet it is not over $1,700.

I bought my Expedition at Carmax, but I would never sell (read: GIVE) them any car...
Actually, I already have a potential buyer, so we'll see how that pans out...If worse comes to worse, I'll just go ahead and have the hood & decklid repainted, I guess...

You will almost always get better results when you go private party both selling and buying. The trade-in will probably be lower than if it was sold by yourself.

No doubt...I only "bought" my SUV there due to it'* very low mileage and extended warranty. Of course right after I bought it, gas prices went wild...
I have it advertised for $3000, and have gotten some interest already...hopefully, that'* a good sign. Thanks guys...any opinions are still welcomed
