I look at three different on-line pricing services to check vehicle values:
Kelly Blue Book
kbb.com
(almost always high on the dealer price, sometimes low on the private party and trade-in.... dealers like to quote you this one)
Edmunds
http://autotrader.com/hornav/edmunds...p?restype=used
(a very detailed analysis - prices a little lower than most other appraisal engines)
National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA)
nadaguides.com
(public version is close to (but not identical with) the industry standard that most lending institutions use- pretty realistic)
