well...just read this little article and I am feeling slightly better. the others are sure to follow. 4 cyl. cummins diesel in the Nissan Titan by 2014 estimate. 220hp and 350 lb.-ft. torque I think it said. and very good fuel economy. I like what I read, now lets see if it happens. would be more opt to have a pickup if I could afford it as a daily driver. Has anyone driven a VW diesel? just a little curious...

I love the TDi Jetta. Very powerful, quiet, and fuel effiecent. I've been in a couple.

its happening guys just give it time, a buddy of mine is going to university of northwestern ohio and hes learning about bio diesel, they give them samples to run in their own engines, he has an 05 chevy cobalt and hes been running their biodiesel in it and he says he gets better gas mileage and his car runs much cleaner than with what we've been using.

So just give it time

Diesel engine maintenance is expensive for the average consumer. Thats probably why it has never taken off in the US. Fleets can usually absorb the costs, but I dont know if I would like buying air and fuel filters at $50 a pop. Also, ever run out of gas in a regular car? Just gas up and go. Try that with a Duramax.

GM is suppose to make a diesel Chevy Cruze for the USA in 2013. (Of coarse, Europe already has one. )

diesel is second grade not pure and pick up is also slow but you can overcome this problem with gas
