Found a 2001 SSEi, one owner, 42k miles on Ebay. Looks very clean. Interested what members of this forum would value it at? I think its a great buy at 6k, but above that is tough as it might be hard to resell. I always value at what I can sell it for on Ebay, not KBB. I will be watching this auction (I was outbid at 4k).

A beautiful car at 6-7k max, but 9-10k is too much, the car is going to nee the LIM Gaskets changed to the aluminum ones, unless you buy it and wait for it to fail, risking hydra-locking the engine, imo the car is too beautiful to let that happen to it.

If that thing sold for 6k and I had 6k, it would 100% be bought!
If reserve comes off at 7k I'd still jump on it, but that is a bit much, I'd like to see it for 5k if it were me, so I could spend a grand upgrading a few things for more HP.

I think i can agree with the general consensus here, locally I've seen the 2001s average around 2-4k in SoCal(a place where they really don't give the car its due) a un-abused ssei with the low miles 6k is just right as a buyer, granted if it were mine i wouldn't let her go for anything under 7kmin

If I was going to pay what they want for that 2001, I'd probably get this instead, 275 HP Northstar V8
