Default What is THIS? EDIT: Denso Makes 00+ BCMs!!!

I took out my glove box to check out what was behind there, and noticed a box with a GM logo on it that said "DENSO, INC." Any idea what this thing might be? Just curious..as I've heard about Denso spark plugs being good...and if Denso stuff is used as OEM in GM vehicles, I think it would be a good brand to go with for other things. I can get a pic of it if needed.

It'* directly behind the glove compartment. If you were to remove the compartment itself and expose whats underneath the dash, it would be to the left. I'm sure its quite a bit different than your car, since mine is a 00+.

Can you look under the dash to see if it ties in with the HVAC? Is this box isolated and by itself, or does it go further than which you can see behind the dash?

EDIT: This wouldnt be part of the heater core would it?

lol..well, being fairly literate...I know that it 100% says DENSO, INC. on it..with the GM logo next to it. I thought it was weird too. Heres a crappy pic of it, it'* the best I could get at night with a shitty digital camera, lol. It was taken from the viewpoint of if you were looking directly into the glovebox, so the module is sideways.

You can see at the bottom it says "DENSO" and then the blue GM logo next to the number "25712809"

EDIT: According to GM, part number 25712809 is the Body Control Module, apparently manufactured by Denso, Inc. interesting to know that Denso makes it, and it'* location in the 00+ Bonnies.
