Yea, I looked it up on KBB and $2200 is a bit much. Almost a grand over than what its worth. How many miles are on it?

Ok. So the engine should last approx. how much longer, if taken care of respectably? Side note: which of the two rims do you perfer (I have big plans for this car, and am going to keep it a very long time)?

No telling how long it will last. Really depends on the previous owner(*) and how well it was maintained.
I would go with the 2nd choice on the rims. The first ones are WAYYY to chromy for the current condition of the car. Get the car repainted, then go for nice rims.

And quite frankly, if they are firm on the price, take your money elsewhere and get something 95 or newer. You won't find much mod wise for the Series I engines. Check Craigslist for some good deals...

Carfax, although not entirely accurate. Will show when, where all registrations occured. Liens, auctions, repos, accidents.(if reported). Failed emissions.(if the state reports it)

So I shouldn't rely on a Carfax. Do you know of anywhere to get Bonneville parts at a good price?
