I use Goodyear hoses, because thats what I have laying around in the garage. When I need new ones, AutoZone usually gives me Goodyear hoses anyways.

I usually buy a hose when my car is at the side of the road with steam coming out of the engine compartment, and the particular brand is the least of my worries at that point in time.

2K4GU,

Great comment. When I was a kid (in the 70'*) we'd see cars with broken hoses all the time. Not seen to often anymore. Are the new hoses so good they don't fail? I have a 1999 Bravada and a 2001 Bonny still running original hoses. Thinking I might replace them during a flush. Maybe they really don't need to be replaced? I am going away for 4 months and I am trying to get the Bravada perfect for my wife before leaving...... Doing ball joints this weekend.

Watching topic with interest, I was planning on swapping all the hoses on the PA pretty soon. I have a Goodyear on there now on the upper hose, and it is due for replacement.
