Default What is the Best Transmission Fluid??

I am on a quest to buy the best transmission fluid money can buy for my next change. I want all of your opinions. What is the best fluid. Money is no object. I have been using maxlife, I was told not to use mobil 1. My internet research doesn't really come up with much info.

Valvoline max-life is what I use for trans fluid. Many out there are probably equally as good.

A generic brand should be good enough. As long as it'* tranny fluid and lubricates parts it will work out.
Only danger is using synthetic fluid in a high mileage tranny.

I use supertech from good ol' wal-mart. They are all the same. The key is to flush often to get and keep all of the gung out.

I contacted mobil 1 and they told me that if my transmission is mechanically sound then there is not going to be a problem using there stuff.I actually bought $50 bucks worth of mobil 1 a week or more ago before being advised against it. I have a case in my trunk. cant find the recept I put 25,000 miles on my car last year, and will most likely put over 35K this year. I need something to protect my trans bigtime. I need some goooood stuff

The dealer told my mom when she bought the car that the trans is not the original, so the trans doesn't have 165k miles on it. Anyhoo, I need some good blood in it to help it get another 140,000 ( dont plan on a new car for 4 more years)

I like the delco dexron III and its the easiest for me to get (local dealer)
I know a few racers that say amsoil or royal purple give the best protection but thats not from my experience.

with the mileage you have on the tranny.. synthetic could agrivate the problems. I don't know this for a fact, but I think i'd trust the admin of the site, with 16k posts. I say go for some valvoline.. that seems like the best.. dino juice will be better for the tranny.
