yes when we first started it it was quiet but after about 2 mins, it started getting really bad

as the oil gets hotter, and more thin, the clearneces start to enlarge, hence the heavy knocking...80w90 oil in there would quiet it up too, for a few minutes..
Here that slapping noise?

...and I just tossed all my L67 rods in the dumpster too :shock:

At the VERY least, a new crankshaft (or have your existing one turned if damage to the journal isn't too bad), new rod and main bearings, and new rods on the affected cylinders. I feel your pain... :cry:

Yeah buddy it was pretty bad...

And iirc your video sounded a little worse... But close to the same

Guys and Gals the sound you hear is a spinning bearing.. Not good.... Do not start that car anymore if you plan on rebuilding..
