as the oil gets hotter, and more thin, the clearneces start to enlarge, hence the heavy knocking...80w90 oil in there would quiet it up too, for a few minutes..

At the VERY least, a new crankshaft (or have your existing one turned if damage to the journal isn't too bad), new rod and main bearings, and new rods on the affected cylinders. I feel your pain... :cry: |
