Well here is a Thread I never wanted to Post. now with a vid
Going for a drive up to Barrie (40mins-hour out of Toronto) to buy some Ski-doo parts for the sled. And about 15-20min into the drive I hear a VERY loud screeching sound, then the car dies, and will not restart in neutral. So I coast to the left curb lane and pop the hood only to see smoke coming from the belt side of the motor. So we look things over and can’t see any problems. Turn the motor over while watching the pulleys and all spun just fine, so no seized ones. So we get it towed back to the shop (bargained the guy to $150 [40km tow]). We got it in the shop and get it started (does now that its cold) KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK..... im told to shut it down. Turns out I f*cked a connecting rod and killed a baring (screeching sound) .
So it looks like I will be taking the car off the road a lot sooner then original planned (was going to take it off the road for winter mods and body work)
now its motor replacement / mods/ body work
f*ck im so bummed out right now :(
