i just recently purchased a delta 1989 as a winter beater.
I didn't start the car for two days. On the morning of the second day, I attempted
to start it . It just cranked but wouldn't start (made the same sound like in the old
days if you had a distributor and it was no good and would not start kind of noise).
After 12 seconds of cranking but not catching, I put the accelerator to the floor
and it finally started.
Would anyone have any idea of what could be causing this?
I already checked the wires by spraying lots on water on it with the car started
and it did not affect it, it did not stumble or anything.
Any ideas?
