To give you a comparison, my car weighed 3690 with me in it (155lbs) and only 3 gallons of race fuel + maybe a gallon or two of normal gas.

Gross weight is like 4500lbs, with about 1,000 of those being the weight capacity. So, i'm thinking mine weighs around 3500lbs, but with all the crap i've got in the back, add 200lbs, plus me so that 180. Guess that means the car probably weighs around 4,000 lbs when equipped with the crap I carry around.

So for comparison to a 00 model, mine weighs 3800 lbs with me in it (155 lbs).

That makes the new gens 100 lbs heavier than yours.....that'* about a 0.10 sec advantage for you.

My 91 would probably weigh more then the average one due to the stereo system in her.
I should weigh both my cars sometime soon.....

Now that I think about it, my stereo probably weighs closer to 55 lbs.

Those are called SPEED holes. Unfortunately we would need to be riding on the stripped down frame to have an advantage.
