Default Weighed my car

WIth me, 25 lbs of stuff, 35 lbs of stereo, 4 gallons of gas it came to 1780 kg on the scale at work yesterday that rounds to the nearest ten kilos.

That'* 3920 lbs. Minus the extras, including me comes to 3640 lbs.

Weighed today with the same stuff and 17 gallons of gas at 1820 kg.

Minus the stuff, that'* 3729 pounds with almost a full tank of gas.

I'll try that tomorrow morning. I get there at five, there is noone in the office, but they leave the scale and display on.

Hehe, somehow I get the feeling that weighing employee'* cars is not the intended use of that scale.

Man my weight was 4140lbs with me in it and race prep, no back seat and some stereo trim removed, no jack , spare of floor mats and low gas light on. so I'd say 3940 in street trim and no driver.

Hey but my front back weight ratio is closer to 50/50 though ,
great for cornering along with the new stickies
bad for launching :(
winning awards for your stereo....priceless

You'll be close to a 92-95 H body, but i'm willing to put some money on lighter.... The 96-99 is slightly heavier but not by much really....

the old RWD ones are lighter then the FWD ones too....

The emissions test certificate lists my car at 1600kg... that'* 3527lb. Assorted Googling is +~50lb.

Only one way to find out... I bet my car is lighter, some of the rust that'* fallen off (the hole on the inside of the trunklid, CRIKEY) over these Canadian winters had to have helped

I weighed my 97 recently...no spare tire or trunk carpet, 1/4 tank of gas and me in it was 3720 lbs. Take my weight out and you have about 3520 lbs.

Cheers,
