LOL! Maybe Bonneville'* just like it on the bottom...

Or maybe they're larger and make a better foundation...

Or maybe I'm just making this up as I go along... :P

Anyway...some of those cars are stacked so precariously, that you couldn't pay me to go near them. Many were stacked 3 or more high. I really gotta wonder about their liability insurance.

On the other hand, if you get there at the right time (like when they have something you want), most are not picked over very much. Maybe because it'* like an african safari without all the helpers and food and water and animals to shoot at....

That is similar to the yard closest to me. You've gotta watch everything.

How they've stacked cars
What the heck am I stepping on now?

You'll get cut and bruised if you stop paying attention for a moment.

Anything good down your way? Other than the one that just burned to the ground?

Oh, and should we tell them about the crazy dog?

Yup. That sounds about right.

More than once, I've leaned on a seat or something and gotten a handfull of tiny glass shards for the effort. Always good fun, that.

Truth is...I'm finding I like being a junkyard dog... :P

That'* odd. We have 6 or 7 yards in my area and none of them stack cars, let alone crush them. They sit until the yard gets full, then they take out the ones at the back that have been there the longest.

Right. That is common here also. This yard is the one that they send cars to from 3 or 4 other yards for crushing and disposal. Plus whatever comes in locally. They've told me that they crush 30 or more cars per day, every day.
