Yep, this evening I helped (ok, mainly put tranny fluid in, turned the key, handed a few tools, held the 3" exhaust in place while it was welded, and other little things) bring my 99 SSEi to life.
It has been a long wait, but seeing it going down the road full throttle, roasting them through first and into second, then kicking it down at 35 mph and hearing them roast again..... MUSIC.... did somebody put my favorite song on......"I love to hear my baby whine!"
Anyhow, the car is going to the body shop for core support straightening and coolers installation and she should be road worthy by Christmas..... that'* my Christmas wish.
So the car is now moveable under her own power and should really be a fun ride when I get it back. The mechanic only took the car on a 500' (each way) trip as there is no coolant and he had to get the engine warm for the CASE Learn, but wasn't able to complete it as the Coolant temp sensor was not reading correct (needs to read at least 7* C and it was reading -38* the whole time).

I also want to add I'd appreciate it if you could all pray for my transmission. I want it to last until May or June when I get done for the summer (ok, I'll still be taking summer classes, but will be working full time then I hope) as that when I will have the 38k tranny checked over and a shift kit installed (will be installing a kit in the current trans as soon as I can too).
I still have to install the powdercoated P-log and rear PEM and crossover, but will do that before long. I also have to run to the Twin Citie'* to get a 3.4" pulley for road use as I want to save the 3.2 for track use only. I may consider a 3.3 for the road, but that'* only if I have no KR with the 3.2" with 92 octane.
I also have to get a 3" DP and the 3" cat installed so I really will be babying it until I get the 3.3-3.4" pulley.
The way it runs now and with the mods I have yet install, and what I will be getting over the next 6-8 months.... I can only get express with this emoticon:
