Are they fram? I've gotta change my oil tomorrow and I can't do it in my driveway anymore (minor spill
) so I have to find a good place to get it done at. Valvoline is looking like my first choice, but I wondered what oil filters they used... Anyone have a clue?

Nice job researching! I knew it was branded as Valvoline, but wasn't sure of the company. Turns out my son didn't know either. But he did say that if you were to get one, to ask for the M1 because it was better than the VO.

Not all Champion Labs products have ecores. The Mobil 1 oil filters are not at all like Super Tech. We can all agree not to buy Super Tech and the non-Duragard labeled AC Delco filters, but as long as you can see the metal core inside the filter, as I understand it, you should be fine with any Purolator and most Champion Labs.
And now to link this to my oil filter thread and link it to this...
