No x amount of degrees are added to valve cover bolts. They're 89in/lb or 7 ft/lb, they varied IIRC. I know Bill'* FSM says 89 in/lb.

89 in/lb I swear!! You can look up the tq specs this time.
As far as the new grommets go, they will be firmer than the old ones, so when I torqued mine at 11 ft/lb, they were TIGHT. Techinfo at that time was not right, but it has been fixed (thanks Bill). I backed them off to about 8 ft/lb since the new grommets were making things too tight at 11.
