Two 9006 Silverstar Headlights different brightness??
I have the 9006 Silverstars and also does my buddy with the 94 GA... There is one thing bothering me though. His are a desent amount brighter. We've owned them for about the same amount of time..i dont think that should really come into factor though.. Anyone know why his are brighter??? I was thinking it was the set up of the headlights or something..i have no idea??
I"ll have to say it'* from the way the reflectors are angled that it appears to be brighter from your buddies car. If you really think it'* the bulb.. simply ask if you guys just swap one bulb to compare to see if it'* the bulb. But again I think it'* the way the reflectors are angled on the headlight housing. Could be wrong.. not goin to sit and figure out the reflection angle and all.. someone else can jump in
Also I notice on HID bulbs that one will tend to be more yellowish if it'* starting to go.. ( on my bros Cirrus with HID conversion and he had shitty HID bulb from Korea that he said he should've researched more on and spent more for better ones )

It'* jus tthe angle of the light. If you squat down and look at eye-level towards the headlights (from a good distance away, maybe 30 or 40 feet.) you will probably notice they are the same brightness. My headlights look dimmer than my freind'* when you look at the car standing up, but mine are definately brighter on the road, and if you look directly at the lights from their level. It'* just how they're aimed.
