I'll post a picture of the fluid when I take my lunch break today in an hour or so. I'll try to get a really good look at the fluid with supermarco mode...

WELL, I will add to my previous thoughts. I think you should do something like I did with mine. Run seafoam trans tune through it, it loosens the varnish on the clutches, softens up all the crud etc, run that for about 100 miles, Drop the pan, drain, refill, go drive around for a little while, getting the transmission up to operating temps, running through all the gears about 4-5 times, and then drain it again and replace filter and gasket and add lucas trans fix. I did not have any real operating problems before that, but the trans was slipping, shifting was UNBELIEVEABLY sloppy and OD was shuddering so hard that it was starting to make panels in my car vibrate... the fluid was DEFINITELY not doing well. After that fluid change I can say that my trans feels like new again. It truly does feel amazing. I know our transmissions are not even close to being the same, but it is worth a try. It didn't cost me that much, a whole heck of alot cheaper than having it flushed AND I KNOW that this is good fluid and not someone elses crappy fluid running through my car. Plus both cars have about the same mileage, so heck, like i said, its worth a try and it can do no more harm than good. New fluid is ALWAYS better than running old crap through there.

seafoam is not getting anywhere near my transmission.

here is a comparision between fluid with 70k out of a 2000GTP (which has been abused daily) and my car on each side.

the fluid on the GTP feels more oil like, mine is almost like water.

Oddly enough it smells the same as the GTP..has that nice ATF smell...I've smelled burnt fluid several times before and this fluid does NOT smell burnt. obviously from the photo it appears burnt.
