I think if it doesn't get firmer by spring.. you'll be ready for clutches and a rebuild.
Why is everyone waiting until the cold of winter to change trans fluid? I do mine either in fall or spring.. Whichever comes first...

If not it'* less than $20 and it firms shifts.
He'* pushing a billion miles on the car. If his shifts got funky.. he'* probably getting ready for a freshen up.
It'* a shame that the trans in Worcester with teh beautifully clean "GM Rebuild" sticker on it is for a 95 EI
