So i finally change my Trans Fluid & Filter..

I got the car with 151K on it, didn't know if it ever has been changed.

Car now has 177K on it,

I made the mistake of trying to clean the magnet with my fingers under running water Looks like you figured out wiping with a towel is the only way to go. Man, that metallic sludge is fiiiiine.

Yea, my bronco'* tranny was never that bad, but, I think next year I'll change it again. Probably only been 20K since the last one, as I only put about 2500-3000 miles on the bronco in the past 2 years.

The jeep, on the other hand, looks brand new every time I change it. 135k miles, and I've done 3 changes on it so far.

Did you "flush" or just drop the pan?

I agree, it looks good. It must have been changed at least once, once before. Hmmmm, once once before. I guess that means it was changed twice?
