tranny ?

I was reading Melissa'* thread about her tranny, and got to thinking. What kind of tranny is in my car? It'* a 93 SLE with the L27, for those that don't know.

and you will have the 3.06 gear ratio also

Some Bonnevilles got the 2.84 ratio with the 4T60E. Don't assume you're 3.06 ratio.

How can you tell the difference? Id like to know what I have in my car for when I have to replace it. :?

F17 = 2.84( 87-97 )
F79 = 2.97( 92-96 Supercharged ) ( Also 87-91 )
FW2 = 3.06( 92-97)
GX3 = 3.33 ( 89-91 SSE Optional )

Look at the spare tire cover for the codes
